Lighting of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Pumping Unit. 5:00 pm in the Lufkin Mall parking lot.  Cookies, milk, and antlers for the children along with a special appearance from Santa.

Wassail Fest in downtown Nacogdoches. 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.  Sample some holiday cheer. A list of participating merchants is available at the Visitor’s Center. Free admission.

 

Tuesday, November 27

Lighted Christmas Parade in downtown Lufkin. 6:00 pm. ”Winter Wonderland” is the theme for this year’s Main Street Lufkin lighted Christmas Parade. Join us as we usher in the holiday season with this traditional event to delight the young and young at heart.

Holiday Extravaganza at SFA Student Center. 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Open to Nacogdoches community. Carnival booths, games, crafts, pictures with Santa, snacks, and lights.

 

Friday, November 30

Lighting Ceremony and Movie on the Brick Streets. Kick off the holiday season in downtown Nacogdoches with over 3 million Christmas lights and a screening of “The Polar Express” on a 25 ft. movies screen. Free admission. Sponsored by Commercial Bank of Texas.

Holiday Open House at Milagros Tea House & Gifts. 3-6pm – Come and enjoy fresh scones and a cup of hot tea as well as other delicacies as we celebrate the holiday season. Enter our Holiday Drawing for a holiday gift just for you! 135 E. Denman Ave.

Mid-Day Noels 12:15-12:45 Free at Westminster Presbyterian Church Sanctuary in Nacogdoches.  Enjoy a musical performance and you’re invited to a luncheon immediately afterward for $6.

 

Friday, December 7

Christmas at the Company Store at the Texas Forestry Museum.  All museum visitors will receive a 10% discount on merchandise purchased from the Company Store gift shop. Visitors who make purchases from the gift shop will be entered into a drawing for a gift basket loaded with goodies! Punch, wassail and cookies courtesy of the Lufkin HEB will be served all day.  1905 Atkinson, Lufkin.

Old Fashioned Christmas at Millard’s Crossing. 5:00 – 9:00 pm. All of our buildings will be open for visitors this enchanted evening.  Each building has something to do! Admission: Adults $8; Children $5; Children 3 and under free.

27th Annual Evening in Old Bethlehem at the Expo Center in Lufkin. 6:00 – 8:00 pm.  Cost: 50 cent donation.

 

Saturday, December 8

Santa Claus Express Pancake Breakfaspresented by the Texas Forestry Museum. 8:00 – 10:00 am. Children and their parents will eat a pancake breakfast, while Santa makes his rounds visiting with everyone. Tickets for breakfast are required and are $6.00 each. Current Kid’s Club Members eat for just $4! Tickets must be purchased by Friday, December 7th, and no tickets will be sold at the door. There will also be activities, crafts and stories from Santa.

Santa Town at Brookhollow Elementary in Lufkin. Many local vendors will have booths set up for you to get your Christmas shopping done in one place.

Family Day at the Museum of East Texas in Lufkin.  Children of all ages are welcome to share in the joy of the season. It’s a fun-filled afternoon for families to participate in art workshops, storytelling, and a visit with from jolly old St. Nick. Bring your cameras! Free event.
